Come and get a sausage sizzle and feed your inner spirit

Join us at the Rutherford Masters Home Improvement store for a sausage sizzle. We are raising funds for the Soul Cafe and would welcome your donations, so whilst you stock up for your home improvement project come and help out others less fortunate than ourselves and get a feast on! Soul Cafe role is to provides just short of 1000 meals per week to severely disadvantaged people in our community. Many of these people are either homeless, have mental health issues, suffer from substance abuse or live in severe poverty.

Why we all love the infamous sausage sizzle

Now, lets all be honest…. we Aussies love a sausage sizzle. There is a distinct smell of the BBQ as you enter the car-park that stirs the senses and creates that hunger feeling that you never knew you had. The odd charred snag with some onion kept cosy with a slice of fresh white bread dripping with the sauce of choice. Is there anything better? Always ready for the punter to cease those hunger pangs of the day – although, lets be honest, you never have to be hungry to enjoy a great sausage sizzle! The great thing about our fundraising event is that as you tuck into the dream sausage sizzle, you will not only be quelling your hunger but you will also be helping people in need, so you can be further fulfilled knowing you are helping your community too!

Maybe the biggest question of the day at the counter of our sausage sizzle stand will be: Should it be diagonal or straight….. oh the decisions of life! In fact, this is a common question that is perplexing the country as noted on news.com.au.
